Bali looks different at bicycle speed. The scooters and tour buses blur past the rice terraces and village lanes that make up the island’s back roads, but on two wheels you actually get to be in that landscape. That’s the pace our Countryside E-Bike & Village Cycling Tour is built around: roughly four hours of riding through rice fields, village temples, and quiet back roads that most visitors never see.
We offer a choice of standard bicycle or e-bike, and this is where the tour opens up to a much wider range of guests. The electric assist takes the sting out of the hills, so you’re not arriving at each stop out of breath. Either way, you’re issued international-standard safety equipment before setting off, and our guide leads the route.
A Route Built Around Village Life
The ride threads through working rice paddies, past small village temples still in daily use, and along back roads where daily Balinese life carries on much as it has for generations. Air-conditioned hotel transfer is included both ways, and the ride wraps up with lunch. At $38 USD per person, it’s a half-day that trades the usual sightseeing shuffle for something more physical, more local, and genuinely more memorable.
